The images in this project were all taken in neighbourhoods near the Don Valley in Toronto's east end. While much of the rest of Toronto positively hums with activity, fueled by finance and expensive culture and infrastructure projects, the Lower Don with its shrinking industry and post-war housing at times seems to slumber, oblivious to the world-class ambitions of the rest of the city.
